What is The Medina Clinic?
The Medina Clinic is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit health organization that offers medical services to the residents of Jackson County, MO and surrounding areas.

What services do you offer?
We offer primary care visits*, as well as women's health services. In addition, the clinic offers online health services that allow you to visit with the physician via webcam, or order your own lab tests.
Although we do not offer specialist services outside of women's health visits, we can often refer our patients to affordable specialist services in the area.

*Please note that we do not offer chronic-pain management services at our clinic.

How can you be reached?
Phone calls are only answered Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, and Tuesdays from 1pm - 4pm..
During the week, you may use our online contact form or leave a voice message to ask business-related, non-medical questions. However, you may NOT use our form to request appointment scheduling. Instead, please read below for details on how to schedule an appointment.
Do I need health-insurance to be seen?
No. All visits are for a flat-fee of $35 or less per visit regardless of income level or health coverage.

When are your appointment times?
Patients are seen for primary care visits on Tuesdays (between 1pm - 4pm) and Saturdays (between 10am-4pm).
Women's Health appointments are scheduled once a month by appointment only.

What if I need to be seen sooner than my appointment?
If you are in need to contact the physician sooner than your scheduled appointment, you may either:
1) Call on the Tuesday or Saturday of your desired appointment to see if there are any cancellations or open slots available.
2) Use our online eClinic service to visit with our physician via Webcam. This session is available every Thursday evening. Please click here for more details on the eClinic service and limitations on type of services offered via eClinic.

Under what circumstances do you close?
We are usually closed on the days of, and weekends before or after, major holidays including Christmas and Thanksgiving. There are also times when the physician on staff will be called to the hospital. We will announce those days on our website on a monthly basis. In addition, a recording will play on the day we are closed when patients call the clinic.
How much does an appointment cost?

The cost is as follows, regardless of health coverage:
- All our regular provider office visits, including specialist services, are for a flat fee of $35.

Our Quick Provider visits are $20 and offer shorter, ~30 min visits.

Our online eClinic visits are only $20 and are offered on Thursday evenings.
What do I need to bring to each appointment?

Patients with no health insurance should bring:
1) Photo ID
2) $35 office fee*
*You may need to be prepared to pay a little extra in case the doctor would like to order any labwork for you (typically less than $60).

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. Cancellations, late-shows and no-shows take up slots that would normally be available to those individuals who need access to medical care in a timely manner. We would like to remind you that your courtesy in this manner enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care.

CANCELLATION: CANCELLATIONS AT ANY TIME WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL VISIT FEE. VISITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND CANNOT BE CANCELED OR RESCHEDULED ONCE MADE UNLESS INITIATED BY OUR OFFICE*.

LATE SHOWS: IF YOU ARRIVE LATER THAN 10 MINS TO YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT YOU MAY BE ALLOWED TO RESCHEDULE TO ANOTHER TIME THAT DAY IF AVAILABLE, BUT NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE ANOTHER PAYMENT TO RESERVE A SPOT ON ANOTHER DAY.
Note: You will be refunded for any cancelations or rescheduling of visits initiated by our office.

How early should I arrive?
If this is your first visit, or if you have not been seen in our office in over a year, please arrive 10-15 min earlier than your appointment to allow ample time to fill out forms. Otherwise, current/active patients may arrive right before their appointment time.

Do you provide new prescription orders or refills?
Yes, we do. For any refills, you will need to have been seen in our office (physically) within the past 12 months. Please contact us at least one week prior to your prescription expiration to ensure continuance of treatment.
You may request a refill if you are a current patient (seen within past twelve months) by calling or filling out our refill request form.
The clinic also has a no-narcotics or chronic-pain medication policy.

Do you provide lab orders?
Yes, we do. Our physicians will provide you with a heavily discounted lab script as needed after your office visit to take it with you to your nearest approved lab testing center.
